Child drowned in Cipinang river

JAKARTA (JP): Three-year old Soleh Nurudin was found dead near
the Cipinang river, in the Dukuh sub-district, East Jakarta, on
Wednesday.

Overflows had raised the river's depth to 1,3 meters on
Wednesday but it had subsided to 40 centimeters by yesterday, a
source at the East Jakarta mayoralty said.

According to the source, Soleh slipped over as he was playing
on the riverbank. (14)
