Chery QQ Now Available for Pre-Ordering, Starting at Rp 5 Million

One of Chery's salespeople in Jakarta said that consumers can already place orders with a deposit of Rp 5 million to secure a queue number. “The launch and price announcement will be at GIIAS on 30 July 2026. The pre-booking is Rp 5 million to get a queue number. It enters the first queue for delivery in August-September,” the Chery salesperson told Kompas.com on Tuesday (5/5/2026). In recent years, Chery has revived the QQ line through various urban electric cars. In 2026, the Chery QQ3 EV was introduced as the latest generation with a four-door hatchback concept. Referring to global specifications, the QQ3 EV comes with a modern design, marked by oval-shaped front and rear lights, as well as semi-hidden door handles. Its dimensions are also relatively compact with a length of around 4.2 metres. Inside, the car is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen, a digital instrument panel, and an infotainment system supported by the Snapdragon 8155 chip and an AI-based voice assistant. In terms of performance, the QQ3 EV is available in two electric motor options: 58 kW (78 hp) and a more powerful 90 kW (121 hp) version that drives the rear wheels. For the battery, options of 29.5 kWh and 41.3 kWh are available.
