Cheap market

Cheap market

From Jayakarta

As a housewife, it is difficult for me to manage my household budget. My husband has just got a 10 percent pay rise, but almost instantly the prices of commodities also went up.

This price hike was partly influenced by the activities of society during the Ramadhan month and prior to the Idul Fitri celebration.

Although the government has tried hard to curb the trend of price increases by conducting market operation, the result was not tangible. The prices, slowly but surely, keep crawling upwards.

Therefore, I appreciate any effort to establish cheap markets, usually done by the Jakarta Military Command, where housewives can buy things at bargain prices.
