The Indonesian Ceramic Industry Association (ASAKI) is optimistic that the Keramika 2026 exhibition will serve as a strategic opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s ceramic products in domestic and international markets. ASAKI Chairman Edy Suyanto stated in Jakarta on Monday that the Keramika 2026 exhibition is a crucial showcase for the national ceramic industry to demonstrate the quality and innovation of domestic products. ‘Keramika 2026 is a source of pride for the national ceramic industry. We aim to prove that local manufacturers’ quality, design, and technology are ready to compete in global markets while meeting the needs of premium projects in Indonesia,’ Edy said. The exhibition, held concurrently with Megabuild and Megaproperty 2026, is expected to bring together the entire construction and property supply chain on an integrated platform. Titled ‘The Most Comprehensive Architecture, Building Materials, Ceramics & Property Exhibition in Indonesia’, the event will take place from 4 to 7 June 2026 in Jakarta. According to Edy, the national ceramic industry continues to demonstrate competitiveness amid rising demand for quality building materials, driven by the recovery of the property sector and extensive national infrastructure development. Furthermore, the synergy between Megabuild, Keramika, and Megaproperty aligns with increasing housing demand, particularly among millennials and Gen Z. Meanwhile, the utilisation of national ceramic production capacity continues to rise to meet interior design trends and modern construction project requirements. Meanwhile, Panorama Media President Director Royanto Handaya stressed that the 3-in-1 exhibition was designed not merely as a showcase but as a catalyst for national economic growth. ‘We designed the 2026 edition not just as an exhibition, but as an economic growth catalyst. By uniting Megabuild, Keramika, and Megaproperty, we are providing a platform for the best innovations in materials, architectural technology, and property investment, enabling all stakeholders to accelerate progress,’ he said. According to him, the exhibition presents a comprehensive industrial ecosystem. Megabuild showcases innovations in building materials, smart home technology, and finishing products, while Keramika focuses on production technology, ceramic tiles, machinery, and sanitary ware. The exhibition also has the support of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) and the Indonesian Interior Designers Association (HDII), which view the integrated event as a vital reference point for architects and designers seeking innovative and sustainable materials.
