Central Lombok Prosecutor's Office Urges SPPG to Publish MBG Menus on Social Media
Central Lombok (ANTARA) - The Central Lombok District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), has requested that managers of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) actively publicise the menus for the free nutritious food (MBG) programme on their respective social media platforms as a form of transparency.
“We urge all SPPG in Central Lombok to publicise the daily MBG menus served on social media,” said the Head of Intelligence Section at the Central Lombok District Prosecutor’s Office, Alfa Dera, in Central Lombok on Tuesday.
He stated that in line with directives from leadership, the prosecutor’s office has a directive role in supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita programme, one of which is the MBG programme that has begun to be distributed to the community.
Therefore, his side is conducting supervision through preventive measures and carrying out daily reporting, both on field conditions and programme targets.
“This programme continues to receive supervision from all parties,” he said.
He added that publicising the MBG menus on social media would increase transparency, allowing the public to participate in monitoring the programme to ensure it complies with regulations.
“This means the public also participates in supervising the MBG programme if the served menus are consistently uploaded to social media. This is part of the transparency from SPPG managers if the programme is implemented according to the rules,” he said.
His side remains open and ready to follow up on any reports from the public regarding criminal acts in the MBG programme. However, any reports must undergo clarification and be supported by complete evidence.
“We remain ready to receive reports if there are any from the public,” he said.
Previously, the Coordinator of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), M Ikhsan, stated the temporary suspension of operations for dozens of SPPG units to maintain MBG quality.
“The temporary closure of those SPPG is carried out because they do not meet operational standards, namely lacking a Wastewater Treatment Installation (IPAL) and not having a Hygiene Sanitation Certificate (SLHS),” he said.
This has become a complaint from residents living near those SPPG locations, and reports continue to be received regarding the environmental impact of wastewater odours.
Therefore, his side hopes that SPPG partners will soon propose the processing of SLHS and improvements to IPAL in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) of the Republic of Indonesia number 401.1 of 2025 on technical guidelines for the governance of the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) programme for the 2026 fiscal year.
“This is to anticipate risks that could affect production quality, nutritional standards, and menu safety in the MBG programme,” he said.
He stated that based on data, the temporarily suspended SPPG number 300 in the NTB region, and for Central Lombok, 80 SPPG spread across 12 sub-districts in Central Lombok.
“Out of 168 kitchens in Central Lombok, 80 SPPG have been temporarily suspended,” he said.
