CCTV Link Monitors Real-Time Lebaran 2026 Exodus, Toll and Non-Toll Roads
The Indonesian government is providing a CCTV link to monitor the 2026 Lebaran exodus in real time, enabling the public to check traffic conditions before travelling.
The CCTV monitoring system for the 2026 Lebaran exodus is provided through an official website managed by the Ministry of Public Works (PU). Through this portal, the public can view traffic conditions from hundreds of monitoring points spread across various road sections.
Users can monitor exodus routes in real time through 1,351 CCTV cameras installed across various toll roads and arterial highways in different regions. In addition to displaying CCTV footage, the portal also provides an exodus route information map and rainfall map to help travellers plan their journeys more effectively.
Complete information about the service can be accessed through the official website https://mudik.pu.go.id/.
The first wave is predicted to occur on 14–15 March 2026, whilst the second wave is estimated to occur on 18–19 March 2026. The peak return traffic is estimated to occur on 24–25 March 2026, with the second wave on 28–29 March 2026.
The government estimates that public mobility during the Lebaran period will reach approximately 143.9 million trips. Of this figure, approximately 52 per cent of travellers are predicted to use private vehicles.
This mobility surge has the potential to cause congestion on several major road sections, particularly toll roads and arterial highways connecting the Jabodetabek region with various areas in Java and other regions.
