Car in the garage of an empty house on Padalarang–Cianjur Road contained two corpses
Two people were found dead in a car parked in the yard of an empty house on Padalarang–Cianjur Road, Kampung Pamucatan, RT 01/10, Desa Ciburuy, Padalarang District, Bandung Barat Regency, West Java, on Tuesday morning (3 March 2026). The victims, a man and a woman, were identified as MA (56) and FA, residents of Kampung Citeko Lapang, RT 03/06, Desa Citeko, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency.
Cimahi Police’s Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Teguh Kumara, said that the discovery began when information was received from Bogor Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit regarding a suspected case of robbery with violence resulting in death. “After investigation by Bogor Police’s Sat Reskrim, it was found that the suspect did commit the violence and eventually discarded the corpses within the Cimahi Police jurisdiction,” Teguh said when contacted at the scene.
Then Cimahi Police’s Sat Reskrim, together with Padalarang Police and Bogor Police’s Sat Reskrim, conducted a search along the Padalarang–Cianjur Road according to the suspect’s confession. Eventually they located a four-wheeled vehicle parked in the courtyard of an empty house.
“Thus, Bogor Police’s Sat Reskrim contacted us. Then, based on information from us and in coordination with Padalarang Police, we traced along the Padalarang–Cianjur Road and found a four-wheeled vehicle in which two bodies were found — a male and a female,” Teguh said.
According to police, the suspect is believed to have deliberately disposed of the two victims at the scene because the area was empty and quiet, despite being along a national road. The case of the discovery of the corpses will subsequently be handled by Bogor Police.
“From here we saw an empty building with a large yard. So we suspect the perpetrator deliberately fled with the bodies and the evidence in the form of the car, kept away from the crime scene in the Bogor jurisdiction,” Teguh added.
