Capital market reforms boost IPO interest, 15 companies in queue
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) reports that 15 companies are currently in the pipeline for listing shares through initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesian capital market. The growing interest among companies in conducting IPOs is inseparable from the reform efforts by Indonesian capital market authorities at the beginning of this year. “As of now, there are 15 companies in the BEI share listing pipeline,” said BEI Director of Company Valuation I Gede Nyoman Yetna in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday. Of the 15 companies in the queue, Nyoman revealed that 11 are large-scale asset companies with assets above Rp250 billion, while 4 are medium-scale asset companies ranging from Rp50 billion to Rp250 billion. The asset classification of these companies refers to Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 53/POJK.04/2017. In terms of sectors, Nyoman detailed that out of the 15 companies in the IPO queue, four are from the healthcare sector, three from the primary consumer goods sector, and two from the non-primary consumer goods sector. Then, two companies from the infrastructure sector, two from the technology sector, and two from the non-primary consumer goods sector. Additionally, one company from the energy sector, and one from the financial sector. As of 10 April 2026, one company has conducted an IPO, raising Rp302.4 billion. Thus, the total number of companies listed on the Indonesian capital market stands at 957 as of 10 April 2026, with a target of 50 IPO events throughout this year. Regarding debt securities and sukuk (EBUS) issuances, BEI recorded 50 issuances from 33 EBUS issuers, raising funds worth Rp55.20 trillion as of 10 April 2026. Up to that period, Nyoman revealed that there are 40 issuances from 28 EBUS issuers currently in the queue to issue EBUS. Meanwhile, for rights issue actions, three companies have conducted rights issues with a total value of Rp3.75 trillion as of 10 April 2026. In the queue, there is one company that will conduct a rights issue, consisting of a company from the property sector.
