Caltex's view on Pertamina

I would like to express my appreciation to The Jakarta Post
editors for publishing my paper, regarding the Coastal Plain
Pekanbaru PSC, under the headline Caltex's view on Pertamina
'faulty' (Aug. 14, 1997).

To avoid any misunderstanding of my view, however, I would
like make the following corrections to some typographical errors.

1. On the fifth line from the bottom of the first column, the
U.S. dollar amount should be "US$2.1 billion" instead of "US$2.1
million".

2. On the first line of the last column, the wording of
"production cost" should be replaced by "production level".

I highly appreciate your cooperation in publishing these
corrections.
