The trees on National Monument Square in Central Jakarta were
decorated with ornamental lamps hanging from cables for the
country's 50th anniversary celebrations in August.

Jakarta's city administration has so far not cleaned up the
cables, some of which now hang over the road endangering traffic.

I hereby make an appeal to the plant cultivation agency of the
city administration, the agency responsible for the decoration,
to take the necessary steps to remedy the situation.
