Cabinet Secretary Teddy Meets Vice President Gibran at the Vice Presidential Palace
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya visited Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the Vice Presidential Palace on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta. Teddy held a one-on-one meeting with the son of former President Joko Widodo.
Teddy showcased the moment of the meeting with Gibran via social media. “Meeting with the Vice President, Mr Gibran Rakabuming, for a courtesy visit at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta,” said Teddy through the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account, @sekretariat.kabinet, on Friday, 3 April 2026.
According to Teddy, he discussed matters with Gibran during the visit. He mentioned that several topics were covered, but did not elaborate further. “During this meeting, which lasted approximately 1.5 hours, various recent developments in the country were also discussed,” he stated.
In the photo uploaded by the Cabinet Secretariat, Teddy is seen wearing a white shirt and blue trousers. Meanwhile, Gibran is wearing a brown-themed batik shirt. The two appear to be conversing while holding a notebook and sheets of paper.
Through the shared photos, Gibran is also seen escorting Teddy to his vehicle after the discussion concluded. The two exchanged respectful gestures before Teddy left the Vice Presidential Palace.
Teddy stated that the meeting took place in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. The two met on Thursday night, 2 April 2026.
In the past week, Teddy has met several guests in connection with Idul Fitri. One of them was when he received a visit from Rosario de Marshal, alias Hercules, at the Cabinet Secretariat Office in Jakarta. When receiving Hercules’ visit, Teddy referred to the Chairman of the United Indonesian People’s Movement (GRIB) Jaya as his old friend.
Teddy uploaded the moment of Hercules’ visit via his personal Instagram social media, @Teddy_HQ. In the video he uploaded, Teddy said he had known Hercules for over a dozen years.
Teddy said that Hercules’ visit, accompanied by his two sons, was in connection with Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. “Today, an old friend from 15 years ago came for an Eid courtesy visit,” said Teddy on Saturday, 28 March 2026.
