The Ministry of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) is promoting corruption prevention efforts through the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK). This initiative aims to ensure that various programmes align with the national anti-corruption agenda.

The Stranas PK serves as a national policy framework that outlines the focus and objectives of corruption prevention in Indonesia, and it also acts as a reference for ministries, agencies, and local governments to improve governance, transparency, and efficiency.

The Stranas PK is not only an oversight instrument but also an accelerator of structural reforms that support Indonesia’s economic growth and competitiveness.

As mandated in Presidential Regulation No. 54 of 2018 concerning the Stranas PK, the report on the implementation of the Stranas PK serves as an accountability measure for the consistency and effectiveness of corruption prevention efforts. The Stranas PK is also one of the instruments used by the President in preventing corruption.

“The report reflects the achievements made, the challenges that remain, and the strengthening measures that we need to ensure are sustained,” said Minister of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Rini Widyantini in a written statement on Tuesday (24/2/2026).

She made these remarks while opening the Second Semester Meeting of the National Team for Corruption Prevention, as part of the preparation for the Stranas PK Implementation Report, at the Ministry of PANRB, today.

She emphasised that the Stranas PK is a collective effort, and its success depends on synergy between ministries and agencies. Therefore, this forum is not just a platform for aligning documents, but also a momentum to ensure that the interventions implemented truly strengthen the system, both in terms of governance and public services.

Rini explained that there is a need to accelerate the corruption prevention agenda in a systematic and integrated manner in 2026. This includes strengthening governance and oversight of the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, including human resource management.

Furthermore, it includes the governance of the Red and White Village/Urban Cooperative (KDKMP), which is one of the national priority programmes. She also expressed support for institutional arrangements and strengthening governance, including facilitating the development of business processes if necessary.

During the meeting, the Stranas PK programmes that need to be aligned with the programmes of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), and the National Team for the Stranas PK were also discussed. This is being done to avoid duplication.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the National Team, Setyo Budiyanto, stated that the progress of the Corruption Prevention Action Plan for the Fourth Quarter of 2025 has reached 46.39 per cent, with the involvement of 66 ministries/agencies and 38 provincial governments.

Several strategic achievements were also reported, including the successful designation of river and lake boundaries, which secured state assets worth Rp12 trillion. Furthermore, 2.3 million hectares of Sustainable Agricultural Food Land (LP2B) were designated in West Java, Central Java, and East Java, which has the potential to increase rice production by up to 5.6 million tons per year.

On the other hand, the 2025 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) for Indonesia shows improvement in downstream prevention practices, especially through the digitalisation of public services, which recorded the highest progress at 72.5 per cent. However, challenges related to structural corruption upstream remain a concern, so the National Team for Corruption Prevention is promoting the strengthening of more systemic policies.

The Stranas PK also promotes other agendas, including accelerating the ratification of the Presidential Regulation on the Integrated Criminal Justice System based on Information Technology (SPPT-TI), strengthening the independence of the Tax Court, and developing the Political Party Integrity System (SIPP). In addition, the National Team for Corruption Prevention has also proposed the 2025-2026 Corruption Prevention Action Plan to oversee the implementation of national priority programmes such as the MBG and KDKMP.

To strengthen the Stranas PK, Setyo emphasised the importance of revising Presidential Regulation 54/2018 concerning the Stranas PK by adding relevant ministries and agencies to the National Team for Corruption Prevention (Timnas PK). The progress of the implementation of the Stranas PK will be reported periodically to the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

“This meeting reaffirms the role of the Stranas PK as a national collaboration platform that connects strategic policies, bureaucratic reform, and transparent and accountable development governance through digitalisation and the integration of service systems. Through the synergy of the National Team for Corruption Prevention, the government is committed to strengthening efforts to prevent corruption from upstream to downstream to support integrity and sustainable development,” concluded the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

For information, the National Team for Corruption Prevention has previously signed a Joint Decree (SKB) on the Determination of the Corruption Prevention Action Plan (PK) for 2025-2026. The SKB contains 15 PK actions that cover the three main focuses of the Stranas PK, namely licensing and trade, state finances, and law enforcement and bureaucratic reform.
