PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) recorded that by March 2026, the realisation of Housing Programme Credit (KPP) disbursements reached a total ceiling of around Rp2.17 trillion to more than 3,291 borrowers. “We continue to support government programmes, especially through the ecosystem together with the entire housing ecosystem,” said BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu in Bandung, West Java, on Thursday. In detail, KPP disbursements from the supply side reached around Rp1.47 trillion to 399 borrowers focused on financing developers, contractors, and building material providers. Meanwhile, from the demand side, BTN disbursed around Rp700 billion to 2,892 borrowers utilised for purchasing, building, and renovating homes. The company stated that this scheme strengthens the interconnectedness between the supply and demand sides in the housing ecosystem. In its role in national housing financing, since 1976 until early April 2026, BTN has disbursed 6 million home ownership credit (KPR) units worth Rp530 trillion. “Over nearly five decades, BTN has not only disbursed financing but built a sustainable housing ecosystem,” said Nixon. He added that the 6 million homes financed reflect BTN’s role in supporting social stability and economic growth through the housing sector. From the borrower profile side, the company recorded that the majority of subsidised KPR applications come from the low-income community segment (MBR) with an average income of around Rp4.9 million per month. This community group is dominated by workers in the informal sector such as small traders, freelancers, and micro-business actors, as well as the formal sector like civil servants, private employees, and contract workers. According to the company, this shows that BTN’s housing financing access reaches community groups that previously had limitations in obtaining decent housing. Outside the housing sector, BTN also disbursed People’s Business Loans (KUR) with disbursements reaching around Rp2.72 trillion by March 2026. Of that amount, the composition of small KUR is Rp2.04 trillion (75 percent) while micro KUR is Rp687 billion (25 percent). KUR disbursements are dominated by the wholesale and retail trade sector at 59.22 percent, followed by the accommodation and food and beverage sector at 12.36 percent, and construction at 10.08 percent. BTN also recorded an increase in borrower business capacity through the KUR upgrade programme for 4,719 borrowers, including transitions from micro KUR to small KUR as well as increases in financing ceilings.
