BSI targets customer expansion through Ramadan promotional programme
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Persero Tbk (BSI) is offering a range of promotions to expand its customer reach through the BSI Fest Ramadan 2026 programme.
“BSI Fest Ramadan this year has been designed to be more expansive in order to reach a wider public,” said BSI Director of Retail Banking Kemas Erwan Husainy in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
One of BSI’s primary focuses through Fest Ramadan 2026 is educating the public on hajj and umrah pilgrimage planning through gold instruments.
The bank is offering a Gold Instalment programme with cashback of up to Rp300,000, BSI Hasanah Card promotions, and BSI Debit discounts on umrah packages of up to Rp4 million.
“We are seeing a trend of young people becoming more investment-conscious. At BSI Fest, we are facilitating them to own gold starting from the smallest denominations as an initial step towards saving for their hajj portion. This is a concrete form of BSI’s support for a stronger national hajj and umrah ecosystem,” said Erwan.
In addition, the company has prepared a special margin rate equivalent to 1.5 per cent for BSI Griya housing finance, as well as one free instalment payment in the form of BSI Gold account cashback worth up to Rp2.5 million for approved payroll financing applications.
Furthermore, there are offers including a zero per cent down payment programme, a special 2 per cent margin for BSI OTO vehicle purchases, and a gold account balance reward worth 0.1 grams for customers who apply for financing during BSI Fest Ramadan 2026.
“We have elevated gold as the main narrative because of its safe-haven nature and sharia compliance in preserving the value of public assets amid global economic dynamics,” he explained.
Visitors who open accounts online at BSI Fest Ramadan 2026 event locations will also have the opportunity to receive shopping e-vouchers worth up to Rp200,000 and various instant grocery prizes by transacting using QRIS BYOND by BSI.
Erwan said that as an Islamic bank now operating under the umbrella of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara), BSI is committed to continuing to drive sharia financial inclusion.
“We are targeting BSI Fest to be attended by hundreds of thousands of visitors and to create a multiplier effect for the economic circulation of our fostered SMEs around the event locations,” said Erwan.
