BSI Prepares Rp45 Trillion in Cash for Ramadan and Eid Holiday Period
Jakarta — PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI) has allocated approximately Rp45 trillion in cash to meet transaction requirements during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holiday period, which will be placed in ATMs and operational branch offices.
BSI Chief Executive Officer Anggoro Eko Cahyo stated that the bank is optimising all service channels available, encompassing both digital and physical networks distributed throughout Indonesia and abroad.
“Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H holidays, BSI ensures that all service channels are prepared to serve customer needs whenever and wherever they arise. We are optimising digital services through the BYOND superapp, BSI Call 14040, over 6,000 ATM and CRM units, approximately 126,000 BSI Agents, as well as payment networks via BSI QRIS and EDC which are accessible in real time,” Anggoro said in a statement released on Monday (16 March 2026).
Anggoro added that during the period of 14-24 March 2026, BSI will also provide limited operational services at 162 branch offices across various regions projected to have direct transaction requirements at branch offices. A list of limited service outlets can be accessed through the company website www.bankbsi.co.id.
“These outlets can provide a range of transactions such as account opening, ATM card blocking, cash deposits and withdrawals, and transfers between BSI accounts. However, we continue to encourage customers to utilise digital services through the BYOND superapp, which offers comprehensive transaction features, including cardless cash withdrawals at BSI ATMs and retail networks such as Indomaret and Alfamart,” he explained.
Anggoro further affirmed BSI’s commitment to delivering the best services to customers during the Eid holiday period.
“We are ready to serve customer needs during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period as part of BSI’s commitment to continue providing full-hearted service. Amid the trend of increasing transactions, we also urge the public to remain vigilant against various fraud schemes using the bank’s name and to verify information through official Bank Syariah Indonesia channels,” Anggoro concluded.
