BSI Distributes IDR 1.51 Trillion Dividend
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BSI, has set a cash dividend distribution of IDR 1.51 trillion, or approximately IDR 32.81 per share, from its 2025 net profit.
BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo stated that the cash dividend comes from the company’s 2025 net profit of IDR 7.57 trillion.
At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2025 fiscal year, shareholders approved the allocation of 20 percent of net profit for cash dividends and 80 percent, or IDR 6.05 trillion, for retained earnings.
“Shareholders have approved and determined the use of the company’s net profit for the 2025 fiscal year, with 20 percent or IDR 1,513,544,655,988, equivalent to IDR 32.810077 per share, designated as cash dividends,” he said during a press conference on Tuesday evening (5/5/2026).
In terms of the portion from net profit, the 2025 cash dividend also saw an increase from the previous year’s 15 percent of net profit to 20 percent.
He added that the shareholders entitled to receive the cash dividend are those whose names are recorded in the company’s shareholder register on the recording date.
“Information regarding the dividend payment schedule will be announced further by BSI management,” Anggoro said.
Anggoro stated that the dividend policy continues to be implemented in a balanced manner between providing optimal returns to shareholders and maintaining capital strength to support future business expansion.
“We are a sharia bank that continues to grow, especially after obtaining dual licensing as a sharia bank and also a bullion bank,” he said.
According to him, the cash dividend distribution from net profit indicates that the company has strong business fundamentals.
BSI’s 2025 net profit experienced an increase of 8.01 percent compared to the 2024 net profit of IDR 7.01 trillion.
This positive performance was supported by healthy financing expansion, an increase in low-cost funds, and digital acceleration that drives efficiency and service expansion to customers.
The number of customers of this bank, with the stock code BRIS, also increased. In 2025, it reached more than 2 million people, bringing the total customers to 23 million by the end of last year.
“Strong fundamentals also drive public trust in BSI,” he said.
