JAKARTA – Deputy General Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Ronald A. Sinaga, commonly known as Bro Ron, admitted to still feeling uncomfortable after the assault incident he experienced in Cikini, Central Jakarta.

Through a post on his personal Instagram account @brorondm on Tuesday (5/5/2026), Bro Ron described his condition, suffering from a headache that he likened to receiving bills from online loans. Kompas.com has been permitted to quote the post.

“Good morning folks, sorry, just woke up and straight away preparing to go to the hospital to stitch the temple wound. DM and WA on hold for now. Body feeling feverish and the headache is like just getting hundreds of online loan bills,” wrote Bro Ron in his post.

“I’m fine though, last night many people helped. My highest appreciation to all who extended their hands to help. For now, we’re handing this case over to the Menteng police station,” he added.

Previously, Bro Ron sustained a torn wound on his temple after being punched by two people at the MPP law firm office in Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (4/5/2026).

He received initial treatment at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), but the wound was not stitched and was only covered with gauze.

“Last night, didn’t get stitches at RSCM after the medical examination because I went straight back to the police station for questioning,” Bro Ron told Kompas.com when contacted.

Tension arose with personnel described as office security, ultimately leading to the act of violence.

“The punching happened as in the video, by two people,” he said.

Menteng Police Chief Braiel Arnold Rondonuwu confirmed the incident. He stated that the two suspected perpetrators have been secured for further legal processing.

“We have secured two suspected perpetrators at the police station for further processing,” said Braiel.

Currently, the case is being handled by the Menteng police station, while Bro Ron has chosen to leave the entire legal process to the police.
