BRI's 2025 Net Profit Reaches IDR 57.13 Trillion, Credit Grows 12.31 Percent
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded a net profit of IDR 57.13 trillion throughout 2025. This achievement decreased by 5.3 percent year-on-year compared to the previous year, which was recorded at IDR 60.30 trillion.
“BRI’s fundamental improvements have had a positive impact on its profit achievement. As of the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, BRI recorded a net profit of IDR 57.13 trillion,” said the President Director of PT BRI, Hery Gunardi, during a virtual press conference on “BRI’s Performance Achievements in the Second Quarter of 2025” held on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
BBRI recorded consolidated interest income of IDR 207.78 trillion, an increase of 4.3 percent compared to the previous year of IDR 199.26 trillion. Meanwhile, consolidated interest expense was recorded at IDR 57.28 trillion, up 1.2 percent year-on-year from IDR 56.6 trillion in the previous year.
As a result, BBRI’s net interest income throughout 2025 reached IDR 150.49 trillion, an increase of 5.5 percent compared to 2024, which was IDR 142.65 trillion. Combined with insurance service income, BRI’s total net interest and net insurance service income reached IDR 151.79 trillion, or an increase of 5.54 percent compared to the previous year of IDR 143.82 trillion.
BRI recorded that the company’s total assets grew by 7.1 percent year-on-year to IDR 2,135.37 trillion as of the end of 2025. Third-party funds (DPK) grew by 7.4 percent year-on-year to IDR 1,467 trillion, driven by the continued strengthening of low-cost funds (current account saving account/CASA).
The continued increase in the proportion of low-cost funds has had a positive impact on the cost of funds. The cost of funds for DPK was recorded at 2.9 percent, an improvement compared to the same period in 2024, which was 3.1 percent.
