BRI: Subsidised Mortgage Realisation Reaches Rp16.79 Trillion by February 2026
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, has recorded a total realisation of subsidised Home Ownership Credit (KPRS) financing amounting to Rp16.79 trillion by February 2026, reaching 122,838 debtors.
The company stated that this distribution is part of its commitment to providing access to decent housing for low-income communities (MBR).
“BRI is committed to providing access to decent, affordable, and quality housing for low-income communities. The distribution of these subsidised mortgages is part of BRI’s role in supporting equitable development while improving public welfare,” said BRI President Director Hery Gunardi in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
Of the total subsidised mortgages, the distribution under the Prosperity Mortgage Liquidity Facility for Housing (FLPP) was recorded at Rp16.38 trillion.
Meanwhile, Tapera mortgages were recorded at Rp316.93 billion, Subsidised Mortgages with Interest Differential (SSB) at Rp91.65 billion, and the Savings-Based Housing Finance Assistance Programme (BP2BT) at Rp8.89 billion.
Hery stated that this achievement reflects BRI’s consistency in supporting government policies in the housing sector. The distribution of subsidised mortgages also contributes to the company’s efforts in expanding home ownership access for the public.
In addition to opening up home ownership access for the community, housing estate development is seen as capable of providing broad economic impacts.
This activity is expected to drive growth in various supporting sectors, from construction, building materials industry, labour services, logistics, to business opportunities for MSME entrepreneurs developing around housing areas.
Hery added that BRI’s presence spread across various regions is an important asset in expanding housing financing access for the community.
“Going forward, BRI will continue to expand the reach of housing financing so that more Indonesian families can own decent and affordable homes. With the support of a network of more than 7,000 work units across Indonesia, BRI is optimistic that this housing financing programme can reach more communities in various regions,” Hery concluded.
