BRI Records Net Profit of IDR 57.13 Trillion in 2025
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BRI recorded a net profit of IDR 57.13 trillion throughout 2025. This achievement decreased by approximately 5.2% compared to the 2024 net profit of IDR 60.3 trillion.
“The improvement in BRI’s fundamental performance has had a positive impact on profit. By the end of 2025, BRI successfully recorded a net profit of IDR 57.132 trillion,” said the President Director of BRI, Hery Gunardi, during a press conference on the Presentation of BRI’s Performance in the Fourth Quarter of 2025 on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
He also stated that the company’s total assets grew by 7.1% year-on-year to IDR 2,135 trillion. Third-party funds (DPK) increased by 7.4% (year-on-year) to IDR 1,467 trillion, driven by the growth of low-cost funds or current account savings account (CASA).
The cost of funds from DPK at the end of 2025 was recorded at 2.9%, he said, an improvement compared to the same period in 2004, which was 3.1%.
BRI’s credit disbursement grew by 12.3% (year-on-year) to IDR 1,521 trillion, with a focus on the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) segment. This growth was higher than the national banking credit growth in 2025, which was 9.6% (year-on-year).
Hery stated that the double-digit credit growth was offset by more prudent and healthy disbursement, as reflected in the ratio of non-performing loans (NPL), which was recorded at 3.07% at the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.
