BRI Denpasar Prepares Rp 819 Billion for Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr
BRI Region 17 Denpasar has prepared Rp 819 billion in cash to fulfil the public’s needs during Nyepi for the Saka New Year 1948 and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. The cash will be available through ATMs, CRMs, or operational unit services.
“As a precautionary measure against the increased cash needs of the public, we have prepared optimal liquidity adequacy,” stated the Regional CEO of BRI Region 17 Denpasar, Hery Noercahya, in a written statement on Thursday (19/3/2026).
BRI, Hery continued, will maintain limited services on 18, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026 from 08.00 to 15.00 WITA. These limited services will be available at BRI branches in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
“Limited BRI services will be available at several branch offices, including Branch Office Amlapura, Denpasar Gajah Mada, Denpasar Gatot Subroto, Renon, Kuta, Negara, Tabanan, and Singaraja, while in NTB they will be available in Dompu, Mataram, Praya, Raba Bima, Selong, and Sumbawa Besar. In NTT, they will cover Atambua, Bajawa, Kefamenanu, Kupang, Labuan Bajo, Larantuka, Maumere, Ruteng, Soe, Kalabahi, Waikabubak, and Waingapu,” said Hery.
The limited services that BRI customers can still access include deposits and withdrawals of savings or loans, account openings, e-banking registrations, debit card services, state revenue collections, and customer complaint handling. Additionally, the state-owned bank will continue to handle cash deposits for DO fuel/non-fuel redemptions from petrol stations or merchants, ASDP pick-up services, insurance claim account openings with Jasa Raharja, and Directorate General of Immigration services (VOA).
Specifically for Nyepi, BRI, Hery added, will also adjust operations for machine services. ATMs and CRMs in the Bali region will be shut down gradually starting from Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at 10.00 WITA and will be reactivated gradually on Friday, 20 March 2026 at 12.00 WITA.
Hery advised that the public can still access BRI banking services through various digital channels and service networks, such as the BRImo super app, 550 ATMs, 533 CRMs, and BRILink agents spread across Bali and Nusa Tenggara.
