Jakarta, VIVA – BRI, a subsidiary of Himbara, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), has reported its financial performance for the 2025 financial year. The company successfully recorded a net profit of Rp57.13 trillion, supported by various solid financial indicators.

The company’s total assets increased by 7.2% year-on-year, reaching Rp2,135.3 trillion from Rp1,922.1 trillion in the previous year. This asset growth is attributed to significant expansion in credit and financing.

Credit and financing grew by 12.3% or approximately Rp166.8 trillion year-on-year, reaching Rp1,521 trillion. The micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) segment made the largest contribution and dominates the company’s credit portfolio, which is the main focus of its sustainable business strategy.

“This demonstrates BRI’s commitment to continuously supporting the strengthening of the real sector, especially MSME players, as the main pillar of the national economy,” said Director of Treasury & International Banking at BRI, Farida Thamrin, during the online press conference for the Q4-2025 Financial Performance Report, Thursday, February 26, 2026.

BRI’s President Director, Hery Gunardi, said that high credit growth is still balanced with strong prudence principles. This is reflected in the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio, which remains under control at 3.07% at the end of 2025.

“This strong performance has a positive impact on the company’s profit achievement. By the end of 2025, BRI has successfully recorded a net profit of Rp57,132 trillion,” said Hery.

In addition, the loan at risk (LAR) ratio also improved from 10.7% at the end of 2024 to 9.6% at the end of 2025. The company maintains solid reserves with an NPL coverage of 178.1%.

From the funding side, Farida reported that third-party funds (DPK) also recorded an increase of 7.4% to Rp1,466 trillion. This growth was supported by an increase in current accounts by 19.7% and savings by 7.9% year-on-year.

BRI’s liquidity remains at a healthy level. The loan-to-deposit ratio (LDR) was recorded at 91.4%, while the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) reached 136.9% and the net stable funding ratio (NSFR) was 117.7%, well above the minimum regulatory requirement of 100%.

From the capital side, the company maintained the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at 23.52%. The CASA ratio also increased significantly to 70.6%, reflecting the increasingly strong structure of the company’s low-cost funds.
