SERANG — The Head of the Banten Province Regional Office (Kakanwil) of the National Land Agency (BPN) Harison Mocodompis distributed land certificates to residents under the 2026 Comprehensive Systematic Land Registration programme (PTSL) door-to-door in Kampung Kubang Prapatan, Labuan Village, Mancak District, Serang Regency, on Thursday (12 March 2026).

The certificate handover was accompanied by the Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) in Serang Regency, Elfidian Iskariza, as officials visited a number of residents’ homes.

Mocodompis stated that residents were deeply moved to receive their land certificates. “The residents I saw were quite emotional and pleased to receive them. Especially since BPN itself delivered them. This is an electronic certificate that cannot be forged,” he told journalists at Kampung Kubang Prapatan.

He explained that the certificates issued are e-certificates that can be printed at any time. “There is a barcode on the back. Please download the Sentuh Tanah application. So if it gets wet or damaged, it can be upgraded at no problem. This can be replaced whenever necessary,” he said whilst demonstrating the Sentuh Tanahku application on his mobile phone.

Meanwhile, Serang BPN Head Elfidian stated that the certificate distribution helps residents secure their land. “The PTSL is for disadvantaged communities, so we prioritise such residents,” he explained.

He added that the certificate issuance is free of charge with no fees whatsoever, as it is funded by the government. “The distribution provides residents with legal certainty regarding their land, ensuring their land is protected,” he said.

Afna, 43, one of the certificate recipients, expressed great joy and said it felt like a dream to obtain a land certificate for only 150,000 rupiah. “It feels like a dream that I got this certificate, sir. We only submitted the paperwork two months ago and now it’s done,” she said.

During the certificate distribution, Mocodompis also visited Arifin, 78, a certificate recipient who was bedridden at his residence. Through his son, Arifin expressed emotion and gratitude to BPN for issuing the land certificate. “The village officials asked for our data two months ago and surprisingly, it’s all completed now,” said Ahmad Rifai, Arifin’s son.

Labuan Village Head Iwan stated that this year, Labuan Village received a PTSL quota of 150 plots, and 128 plots have already been completed on this day. “Alhamdulillah, with this PTSL programme, residents now find it easy to obtain certificates,” said Iwan.
