BPJS Health Launches Free Homecoming Service Posts 2026, Here Is the List of Locations
BPJS Health is launching homecoming service posts at several high-traffic transit points to provide comfort to those travelling for Lebaran 2026. The initiative was announced by BPJS Health Chief Executive Officer Prihati Pujowaskito during the inauguration of a service post at Terminal Purabaya in Sidoarjo.
“Travellers can access services at BPJS Health homecoming posts from 13 to 18 March 2026, located at Merak Port in Banten, Pulo Gebang Terminal in East Jakarta, Cipularang Toll Rest Area Km 88A in Purwakarta, Cipali Toll Rest Area Km 166A in Majalengka, Ungaran Toll Rest Area Km 429 in Semarang, Masaran Toll Rest Area Km 519A in Sragen, Terminal Purabaya in Sidoarjo, and Soekarno-Hatta Port in Makassar,” said Prihati Pujowaskito in a written statement on Friday, 13 March 2026.
Pujowaskito said that BPJS Health routinely operates homecoming posts during each Lebaran period as part of its commitment to facilitating convenient access to services for JKN programme participants undertaking holiday travel. He explained that the homecoming posts aim to ensure travellers can obtain health services and information related to the JKN programme during their journey.
“BPJS Health continues to provide membership administration services through face-to-face consultations at branch offices. Branch office services will be open on 18, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026 from 08.00 to 13.30 local time, ensuring that people can still receive direct administrative services both before and after the Lebaran holiday period,” said Pujowaskito.
Beyond free health consultations and examinations, travellers can also utilise additional services at BPJS Health homecoming posts, including relaxation facilities, provision of basic medications, simple emergency medical treatment, and referrals when necessary.
“Travellers visiting BPJS Health homecoming posts can utilise all these services free of charge. We therefore urge travellers not to hesitate to stop by and take advantage of the services we have provided,” stated Pujowaskito.
Pujowaskito added that during the Lebaran homecoming period, JKN programme participants will continue to be able to access health services even whilst outside their home district.
“Under the JKN programme’s portability principle, participants can still receive outpatient care at health centres, clinics, or private medical practices that cooperate with BPJS Health if their registered health facility is closed or if they are outside their home district,” he explained.
However, in emergency situations, participants can directly visit the nearest hospital without requiring a referral first. Pujowaskito said that information regarding health facilities that remain operational during the Lebaran holiday period can be accessed through the Mobile JKN Application.
“We continue to strengthen partnerships with health facilities, including health centres, clinics, private medical practices, and hospitals, to ensure optimal services during the Lebaran homecoming period. If JKN programme participants encounter difficulties accessing health services, BPJS Health also provides various complaint service channels such as the Mobile JKN Application, Administrative Services via WhatsApp (PANDAWA) at 08118165165, and BPJS Health Care Centre 165,” concluded Pujowaskito.
