Bekasi, Kompas.com — Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto stated that the medical treatment costs for the victims of the accident involving a vehicle with an SPPG (Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi) sticker on Jalan Kalimantan Raya, Aren Jaya Ward, East Bekasi Subdistrict, Bekasi City, will be fully covered by the Social Security Organising Agency (BPJS) until recovery.

“We extend our condolences for this tragedy. The government ensures that all victims currently receiving hospital treatment will be covered by BPJS Health and Employment until they recover,” said Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto in his official statement on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Tri stated that the local government will ensure all victims receive the best healthcare services during their treatment.

“The victims’ children will also be our concern. The Bekasi City Government is ready to assist with their education funding,” said Tri.

For information, the accident on Tuesday (12/5/2026) resulted in Sanoeri dying after receiving intensive treatment at Siloam Sentosa Hospital in East Bekasi.

In addition, a fried chicken vendor named Neni Anggraeni (32) and the vehicle assistant Putut Dwi Putranto (52) sustained injuries and are still undergoing treatment in hospital as of now.
