BPIP and the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA) are discussing strengthening strategic collaboration to reinforce Pancasila ideology through the Ruang Bersama Indonesia (RBI) programme. The partnership aims to enhance women’s empowerment and child protection based on Pancasila values.

BPIP head Yudian Wahyudi welcomed a visit by PPPA Minister Arifah Fauzi in Jakarta to discuss synergies between the two agencies in supporting the national development agenda, including the Asta Cita programme of President Prabowo Subianto. RBI is to be one instrument to promote gender equality, increase women’s roles, and protect children down to the village level.

Yudian said that strengthening human resources is not only about economic and educational aspects, but also about forging national character through internalising Pancasila values in community life.

“The principle of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika teaches that our objectives are the same, even though the ways to achieve them may differ. Therefore, BPIP welcomes this collaboration as part of a joint effort to popularise Pancasila values across various programmes for empowering women and protecting children in Indonesia,” Yudian said on Thursday (5 March 2026).

Yudian added that women’s and children’s issues are an important part of building a just nation. Therefore, various empowerment programmes need to be strengthened with Pancasila values to create an inclusive society that upholds humanity.

“The issue of women is also a particular concern for Madam Megawati. Therefore, BPIP is ready to support various forms of cooperation, whether through socialisation or the fostering of Pancasila values in community empowerment programmes,” he said.

Yudian also opened up opportunities for concrete cooperation between BPIP and the Ministry of PPPA through strengthening ideological guidance of Pancasila at village level, organising national classes, and community-based economic empowerment grounded in Pancasila values.

“We are open to strengthening this collaboration. What we can do together and when it can start, will of course be worked out together to yield real benefits for the community,” Yudian said.
