BPH Migas Ensures Safe Fuel Stocks in West Java Throughout Early Ramadan
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has ensured that fuel stocks, both subsidised and compensated categories, in West Java remain in a safe and controlled condition throughout the early period of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.
Direct monitoring was conducted by BPH Migas Committee Member Bambang Hermanto together with BPH Migas Committee Member Hasbi Anshory at several fuel stations in Purwakarta, Bandung, and along the Cipularang toll road on 26–27 February 2026.
“We conducted monitoring at several fuel stations in Purwakarta, Bandung, and the Cipularang toll road to ensure the availability of subsidised and compensated fuel can meet public demand. Fuel stocks are in a safe and controlled condition,” said Bambang in his statement from Jakarta on Saturday.
He stressed that the public need not worry about potential fuel shortages, particularly during the Ramadan period which is typically followed by increased fuel consumption ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Beyond ensuring stock availability, BPH Migas also carried out checks on fuel quality and service standards at the stations.
“We directly inspected the quality of Pertalite and Solar fuel types. The results already comply with the quality standards set by the government,” he said.
According to him, the monitoring exercise was part of routine oversight to maintain smooth energy distribution and ensure public service remained optimal.
“We conduct this oversight to provide the best service to the public whilst preparing for Eid al-Fitr. We hope everything goes smoothly,” he stated.
In the same capacity, Sales Branch Manager Fuel III Karawang of Pertamina Patra Niaga Maulana Dani Yusuf stated that his team continues to conduct oversight of fuel stations to maintain the quality and quantity of fuel products distributed.
Also present during the monitoring was Sales Branch Manager Fuel I Bandung of Pertamina Patra Niaga Zico Aldillah Syahtian.
