BP BUMN Supports KAI's Transformation Prioritising Security
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN), also serving as Chief Operating Officer of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, supports the transformation of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), which prioritises security and safety while providing inclusive services.
” KAI’s transformation prioritises security and safety as the main focus, while also delivering inclusive services that are adaptive to technological developments,” Dony stated in his remarks received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He conveyed this support during a meeting with the Board of Directors of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) to discuss the progress of implementing the national railway development roadmap on Tuesday.
On that occasion, Dony emphasised that safety and security aspects form the primary foundation in the transformation of railway services.
“And provide tangible impacts on mobility convenience and economic growth,” he said.
This focus is deemed important to meet the continuously growing mobility needs of the public, while also supporting national logistics efficiency.
In addition, the consistency of service punctuality is also a concern, in line with the increasing public expectations for reliable mass transportation.
