Bowlers avoid filthy privies

JAKARTA (JP): The designers of Mega Mal Pluit clearly did not want people spending much time in the toilets, or that's what people attending the tenpin bowling competition at the site think.

While the majority of the mall is a grand, smart complex, the toilets in the Galerie Kodel are, in the words of one spectator, "an embarrassment."

He said: "The restrooms are filthy and poorly maintained. It is obvious they don't want people staying there long. They should have briefed their staff before the Games."

Not only do the stench and filth discourage people from lingering, the rude attendant swears loudly in Indonesian whenever the spectators in the stands begin to cheer.

One benefit, maybe, is that no one is complaining about having to wait in line. (icn)
