Body found in hotel
JAKARTA (JP): A body of a man was found yesterday in a room of a hotel on Jl. Pramuka, Central Jakarta.
A police sergeant at Central Jakarta Police precinct said the body of Edi Sulaiman, 40, was found by an employee in a room of the hotel at about 6 a.m.
The officer said Edi, a resident of Jl. Rawamangun, slept at the hotel with a woman.
Police believed the man died of a heart attack, he said.
Meanwhile in South Jakarta, bodies of a couple were found near a railroad track on Jl. Bintaro Permai yesterday.
A police source at South Jakarta Police precinct said the bodies of Suranto, 19, and Rasmini, 26, were found by local residents at about 6 a.m.
Police speculated Suranto, of Rembang, Central Java, and Rasmini, of Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.
He said Suranto, a domestic helper, died from head injuries and a broken back and Rasmini, also a domestic helper, died with a broken back. (jun)
