BNI Opens Free BUMN Mudik Registration 2026
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) is participating in the Free BUMN Mudik 2026 programme, initiated by the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Body (BP BUMN). Registration opened on 27 February and runs until 9 March 2026 or until the quota is filled, with coordinated departures scheduled for 17 March 2026.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that the bank’s participation in the programme represents a tangible contribution to supporting the smooth flow of Lebaran mudik (holiday travel). The programme also serves as an alternative for safe and comfortable mass transportation for the public.
“The Free BUMN Mudik programme is a concrete form of BNI’s contribution to supporting public mobility during the Lebaran period whilst helping reduce traffic congestion through the provision of safe and comfortable mass transport,” Okki said in a written statement.
This year, BNI is providing several routes: Jakarta–Purwokerto, Jakarta–Semarang, Jakarta–Yogyakarta (via Solo), and Jakarta–Malang (via Surabaya). All journeys will use the Cikampek Toll Road and Trans Java Toll Road, with exit points adjusted according to each participant’s destination city.
To participate in the programme, participants must meet several requirements, including being an active BNI customer, a BNI debtor, or an Agen46 representative. Registration is conducted at BNI branch offices in the Jabodetabek region by presenting original identity documents and photocopies, and demonstrating the Wonderr by BNI application. Participants must also follow BNI’s official social media accounts. Each customer can register a maximum of four participants, with one ticket valid for one person.
BNI hopes the programme will deliver a more orderly and well-organised mudik experience whilst reducing the risks of long-distance travel using private vehicles, which often causes traffic congestion and potential accidents.
“We hope this programme can provide a safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable travel experience for mudik travellers during this Lebaran season,” Okki stated firmly.
As a state-owned bank, BNI reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to contribute through various social programmes and public services that provide added value to society. Participation in the Free BUMN Mudik 2026 is expected to help the public celebrate Eid al-Fitr with family in their hometowns in a safer and more comfortable manner.
