BNI Holds Ramadan Safari 2026 in More Than 10 Cities, Distributes 80,000 Food Packages and Charitable Donations
Jakarta — PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has again held Ramadan Safari 2026 in more than 10 cities across Indonesia as part of the group’s annual social activities during the holy month. The programme distributed around 80,000 food packages as well as donations to orphans and the disadvantaged.
BNI’s Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo, said the Ramadan Safari series began simultaneously on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, in Batam, Bandung, Semarang and Yogyakarta. The board of directors attended, engaging directly with orphans and the local communities around the venues.
‘This Ramadan Safari is BNI’s commitment to continually be present in society. Not only through banking services but also social activities that provide real benefits, especially for orphans and those in need,’ Okki said in a written statement on Friday, 6 March 2026.
In its execution, each Ramadan Safari region will provide donations and gift packs to around 100 orphans, including those bereaved of parents, and the underprivileged, as well as donations for five accompanying persons in each region.
The Ramadan Safari series continued on Friday, 6 March 2026, in Denpasar, Manado and Jayapura. The programme arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, in Malang, Medan and Surabaya on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, and in Banjarmasin, Palembang and Makassar on Friday, 13 March 2026.
Okki added that the programme’s climax would be attended in person by BNI’s President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan along with the board of commissioners, directors and the Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) at the Nuzulul Qur’an commemoration held in Jakarta.
BNI is also engaging with regional offices and branches nationwide, as well as strategic partners such as Agen46 and BNI customers, to ensure social assistance is delivered with targeted impact.
‘Through Ramadan Safari 2026, BNI hopes to strengthen the spirit of fellowship while delivering tangible benefits to those in need during the holy month,’ Okki concluded.
The programme also reinforces BNI’s commitment as a state-owned enterprise that not only focuses on banking services but also actively contributes to improving social welfare and strengthening ties with communities across the country.
