BNI Encourages Malaysians to Plan Finances During Ramadhan Through Growth Feature
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, commonly known as BNI, is encouraging the public to leverage the momentum of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah not only to increase transaction activity but also to begin planning their financial future in a more structured manner.
Through its digital application wondr by BNI, the bank has introduced a Growth feature designed to help customers prepare long-term financial plans in a practical and integrated manner.
BNI’s Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo noted that Ramadhan through Eid al-Fitr is a period typically characterised by increased economic activity amongst the public, ranging from travel needs for mudik (annual return to hometown), distribution of THR (annual bonuses), and other consumption requirements.
However, amidst this surge in transactions, the public must still maintain attention to financial management for the future.
“Through digital features such as Growth on the wondr by BNI application, we aim to help customers plan their financial objectives in a more structured manner so that every aspiration can be prepared with clear and consistent steps,” Okki stated.
He added that the Growth feature is designed to facilitate customers in preparing various long-term financial needs, such as education, marriage, and family future planning.
The Ramadhan period is regarded as an appropriate time for reflection and the formulation of improved financial planning.
Within the Growth feature, wondr by BNI provides various financial instruments that customers can utilise, such as fixed-term savings and deposits within a single digital platform.
One available feature is Life Goals, which allows customers to save for specific objectives by determining target funds, timeframe, and monthly contributions with flexibility.
Additionally, customers can utilise the digital deposit feature with interest rates up to 2.50 per cent per annum and the flexibility to withdraw at any time without penalty. This feature is also equipped with personal financial target monitoring and support for asset management in various currencies or multi-currency functionality.
On the other hand, the wondr by BNI application supports various transaction requirements for the public during Ramadhan through Eid al-Fitr.
Customers can utilise QRIS payments at various merchants, use TapCash for mudik journeys such as toll transactions and transportation, and transfer funds practically to distribute THR to family and relatives across various regions.
Okki stated that BNI continues to strengthen innovations in digital services to provide a more straightforward financial management experience that is relevant to current public needs.
“Through wondr by BNI, we aim to provide a more practical financial management experience and help customers grow financially in accordance with their life objectives,” Okki said.
By utilising such digital services, the public is expected to balance consumption needs during Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr with long-term financial planning.
BNI considers disciplined financial management from an early stage to be the key to realising various life objectives in a more directed manner in the future.
