Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Blue Bird Tbk (Bluebird Group, stock code: BIRD) recorded an 11.6% increase in revenue for the first quarter of this year, reaching Rp1.45 trillion, while the company’s EBITDA stood at Rp341.8 billion and net profit at Rp157 billion.

Bluebird Group’s President Director, Adrianto Djokosoetono, stated that this positive performance was primarily supported by a 12% year-on-year growth in taxi service revenue.

“Throughout 2026, our focus is on maintaining growth momentum by continuously strengthening service reliability through fleet readiness, customer access expansion, and improving operational productivity,” said Adrianto Djokosoetono in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He explained that the optimisation of digital technology utilisation also supported the company’s solid performance, as evidenced by a 22.4% growth in MyBluebird app users and a 29.2% year-on-year increase in the use of the fixed price feature.

He added that digital technology also enhances the company’s operational effectiveness in reading demand patterns more precisely, including by area, activity momentum, and operating hours, allowing for more responsive and efficient fleet deployment.

In addition, the company’s improved performance was bolstered by high public demand during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming season and long holiday period in 2026.

Adrianto conveyed that the company is continuously expanding its service reach by adding base points in various regions, which has increased by around 43% compared to the first quarter of the previous year.

The company is also developing sustainable business through the expansion of electric vehicles in several cities, including strengthening eco-friendly mobility initiatives in Bandung, West Java, and Bali.

As part of efforts to maintain service quality, the company has introduced various initiatives to support driver welfare, including competitive income strengthening and appreciation programmes for high-performing drivers.

“With an increasingly solid business structure, we are optimistic about continuing to grow healthily and sustainably,” Adrianto added.
