KL vow to be firm on fugitive terror suspects: Police have
stepped up vigilance at Malaysia's entry points to prevent two of
Asia's most wanted terror suspects from returning to their home
country, an official said on Thursday. Malaysians Azahari bin
Husin and Noordin Mohammed Top - both alleged leaders of the al-
Qaeda-linked terror network Jamaah Islamiyah - are the target of
a massive manhunt in neighboring Indonesia following their narrow
escape from police in the west Javanese city of Bandung on Oct.
31. Latest intelligence shows both men remain in Java, said
Yusoff Abdul Rahman, director of Malaysia's police special
branch. He added that Malaysian officials were cooperating with
Indonesia to track them. -- AP

Iran warns IAEA condemnation could backfire: Iran's
representative to the UN nuclear watchdog said on Thursday there
could be "unpredictable consequences" if the agency's governing
board declares Tehran in violation of the global pact against
nuclear weapons next week. On Nov. 20, the International Atomic
Energy Agency's (IAEA) Board of Governors meets to discuss an
IAEA report on Iran's nuclear program, detailing decades of
failures by Iran to report truthfully about its activities and
facilities. -- Reuters
