Bianglala bus
Bianglala bus
From Media Indonesia
I am one of the commuters on the Pamulang-Senen bus route. I am grateful that this line exists, although there are times that the bus crew does not treat us properly. We feel that Bianglala's management should pay more attention to this.
I recall one particular occasion when passengers were badly treated. The air-conditioned Bianglala Pamulang-Senen line became stuck in a road snarl on the slope of Block A. Suddenly a PPD bus, P-20, which was plying the Lebak Bulus-Senen route, transferred 15 of its passengers to the Bianglala bus. They had to pay an additional Rp 500. Are bus passengers allowed to be transferred to another bus which does not belong to the same company?
But what happened on Jan. 15, 1997 was quite the opposite. The Bianglala bus I boarded from Senen to Pamulang broke down in front of IKIP Muhammadiyah in Kebayoran Baru. Its passengers, mostly housewives, were in a hurry to get home for the breaking of the fast. When we asked to be transferred to another bus (not Bianglala), the conductor grumbled and said we had to wait for the next Bianglala bus. We were forced to pay up in the end after boarding a bus of a different transport company. What about that?
