Throughout March 2026 up to the afternoon of 31 March, the Bengkulu Regional Police (Polda) together with its affiliated district police (Polres) have issued a total of 3,132 police clearance certificates (SKCK).

Bengkulu City (ANTARA) - The Bengkulu Regional Police issued 3,132 police clearance certificates (SKCK) for the public in the local area during March 2026.

The issuance of thousands of SKCKs was carried out by the Security Intelligence Directorate (Intelkam) of the Bengkulu Regional Police together with affiliated district police to fulfil the administrative needs of the public, ranging from job applications, continuing education, to various other administrative purposes.

“Throughout March 2026, the Bengkulu Regional Police together with affiliated district police have issued 3,132 SKCK sheets,” said the Head of Community Guidance Section of the Intelkam Directorate of the Bengkulu Regional Police, Commissioner Rupaicen, in Bengkulu City on Friday.

He stated that the high number of SKCK applications was due to many members of the public needing the SKCK document, one of which is as a requirement for job applications.

According to him, the implemented scheme aims to make the service process faster and more efficient, as well as to reduce queues at SKCK service offices, especially in the Bengkulu Province area.

“Now the public can register first online through the Polri application. After that, applicants come to the police office for document verification, fingerprinting, and SKCK printing processes,” he said.

Therefore, the Bengkulu Regional Police urges the public who will process SKCK to prepare all administrative requirements such as photocopies of electronic identity cards (e-KTP), Family Cards, passport photos, and other supporting documents.

This is done to speed up the processing and issuance of SKCK for the public.
