Bekasi Chicken Noodle Entrepreneur Claims Defrauded by Influencer over Rp 1 Million Endorsement Deal
BEKASI – A chicken noodle and meatball entrepreneur in Karangbahagia District, Bekasi Regency, Anggi Pamungkas (26), has claimed to be a victim of alleged fraud by an Instagram influencer with the initials PS following an unhonouring promotional partnership valued at Rp 1 million.
The case emerged after Anggi shared his experience through his personal Threads account. The post subsequently went viral and sparked widespread online discussion.
“Initially, I was confused about what to do. In the end, my wife and I created a Threads post. We didn’t expect the content to get this much attention,” Anggi said when met by Kompas.com at his business premises on Saturday (28 February 2026).
To promote his grand opening, he contacted PS, who was perceived to have a large following in the Cikarang area and surrounding regions.
“The influencer had many followers in this area. So I wanted people here to know about this new chicken noodle and meatball shop,” Anggi explained.
He claimed he first contacted PS on 23 January 2026 and invited the influencer to attend the grand opening on 29 January 2026.
In initial communications, PS allegedly offered a promotional rate of Rp 15 million. Anggi said he was shocked by the amount and initially considered abandoning the partnership.
“Since I had already contacted them, I just made small talk. I asked, ‘Is there a price for small and medium enterprises?’” Anggi recounted.
According to Anggi, the rate was subsequently reduced to Rp 5 million, then Rp 3 million. However, he stated that his budget only allowed for Rp 1 million.
Anggi said that after negotiation, PS eventually agreed to accept the Rp 1 million offer.
“They said, ‘Okay, let’s help you for Rp 1 million on TikTok.’ So in the end, we agreed on the Rp 1 million price,” he said.
Under the agreement, PS was scheduled to arrive on 29 January 2026 to record video content and upload promotional content to TikTok on the same day, coinciding with the grand opening.
“They said they agreed. They said it would be for TikTok content,” Anggi stated.
