BDF secures $40 loan

JAKARTA (JP): PT BBL Dharmala Finance (BDF) has secured a
syndicated loan of US$40 million to back up its leasing
activities.

The loan, the second signed by BDF this year, follows the
syndicated loan of $50 million secured by the finance company in
March.

The latest loan was arranged by Nederlandse Financierings-
Maatschappij Voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V., Indover Bank and the
Jakarta branch of ING Bank.

Members of the loan syndication for BDF, a joint venture
between Dharmala Sakti Sejahtera and Bangkok Bank, included Arab
Banking Corporation, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Indover Bank,
Hanil Leasing and Finance, Korea Leasing (Singapore) Pte Ltd,
Change Hwa Commercial Bank, BFG Bank AG, ING bank NV and LG Bank
Landesgirokase. (hen)
