BCA, Century 21 to collaborate

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Central Asia (BCA) signed an agreement on Monday with real-estate broker Century 21 Indonesia to provide customers with the option of paying for their real-estate investments with BCA housing loans.

BCA said in a statement that before the agreement, Century 21 customers had to pay cash for their purchases.

"Besides giving value-added service to our customers, this collaboration will also serve to expand lending and increase our housing loan portfolio," it said.

The products that could be paid for using BCA housing loans include ready-to-occupy houses, shop-houses, and apartments.

Century 21 Indonesia is a subsidiary of the Century 21 Real Estate Corporation, based in the United States. (tnt)
