Batang–Semarang Toll Rate Discount Now in Effect, Vehicle Traffic Increases
JAKARTA — Ahead of the 2026 Lebaran holiday, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has recorded an increase in vehicle mobility towards the eastern region of the Trans-Java corridor.
During the period from H-10 to H-9 (11–12 March 2026), a total of 62,503 vehicles were recorded passing eastward through Cikampek Utama toll gate. This figure represents a 13.68 per cent increase compared to normal traffic conditions, which typically reach 54,982 vehicles.
To manage the rising volume of vehicle traffic, JTT has deployed 16 toll booths at Cikampek Utama toll gate to ensure smooth transactions and reduce potential queuing.
In response to the increased mobility during the holiday period, several toll road sections managed by JTT have introduced a toll tariff discount programme to provide more affordable travel whilst helping to distribute vehicle flow during the 2026 Lebaran mudik (exodus) and return journey period.
VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that road users can take advantage of the toll tariff discount of up to 23 per cent during the mudik and return journey period on the Batang–Semarang section.
“One of JTT’s subsidiaries, PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), which manages the Batang–Semarang toll road section, has implemented a toll tariff discount of up to 23 per cent for all transactions at the toll gates on the Batang–Semarang section, effective from 12 March to 31 March 2026,” said Ria.
