Jakarta (ANTARA) - A joint team from Subdit IV Ditttipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri and the NIC Task Force uncovered the drug distribution network at the N-Co Living by NIX Bali nightclub after raiding the location and arresting several suspected dealers there.

Director of Narcotics Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated in Jakarta on Monday that the narcotics distribution at the nightclub had been occurring since 2025.

“Narcotics distribution took place following a meeting between an individual with initials RS and the N-CO Living manager with initials SW, perpetrators Desu, Doni, and perpetrator NGR alias Ajik at N-Co Living by NIX in July 2025, who distributed narcotics in the form of ecstasy and ketamine,” said Eko.

During the raid at N-Co Living by NIX, the joint team arrested three perpetrators: SW as the club manager, NGR acting as a dealer, and BCA as the N-Co Living captain who also served as a liaison between dealers and guests.

He explained that, based on NGR’s statement, who had been working at the nightclub since 2025, the drugs were distributed in collaboration with perpetrator Desu, who is now on the wanted list (DPO).

NGR worked part-time at the nightclub as a “pharmacist” tasked with delivering drugs to karaoke rooms, receiving Rp100,000 for each drug sale.

“NGR was paid in cash. There was no salary system, but rather commission for sales: Rp100,000 for ecstasy. For ketamine, Rp200,000 per small plastic packet,” he said.

The ecstasy and ketamine distributed by NGR were obtained from Desu in the following manner: when NGR was on shift, Desu would count the narcotics with NGR in room 301, and after counting, Desu would hand over the narcotics in room 301.

Then, after NGR’s shift ended and Desu took over, a recount of the narcotics would occur, and NGR would hand over the unsold narcotics along with the proceeds from sales to Desu.

Meanwhile, according to perpetrator SW, the manager, he was aware of the distribution and even ordered NGR and Desu to temporarily halt activities after Bareskrim Polri raided narcotics distribution at the New Star Bali nightclub in March 2026.

“After news of the arrest and raid at New Star, SW instructed perpetrator RS to stop narcotics sales until the situation was conducive. After a week, SW told Desu and NGR to resume selling while monitoring the situation,” he revealed.

From these narcotics transactions, perpetrator SW received between Rp20 million and Rp50 million from Desu. This payment was distributed to 50 employees in the form of groceries.

Investigators also uncovered the distribution of funds to leaders amounting to Rp1.5 million to Rp2.5 million, depending on sales results.

“The proceeds from sales circulated to the manager, floor captain, housekeeping leader, bar leader, technician leader, soundman leader, and office,” he stated.

The groceries distributed included one carton of instant noodles, cooking oil, and rice, provided to GRO employees, cleaning staff, security, service staff, kitchen, bar, cashier, technicians, and soundmen.

Meanwhile, from the search at the nightclub, guests or patrons were found in rooms where visitors were caught possessing narcotics.

“In total, there were 14 people consisting of eight men and six women. All tested positive for drug use based on urine test results,” he said.
