Banten to offer investment opportunities to French bizmen
Serang (ANTARA News) - Banten province will offer investment opportunities in sea port development, road construction and tourism to French businessmen, the chief of Banten`s provincial Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Eneng Nurcahyati, said here on Friday.
She said the Banten provincial administration and French businessmen would hold a business gathering on April 2-3 to offer the investment opportunities.
"We have conducted a coordinative meeting with related institutions in the province to prepare the business gathering with some 30 investors from France," Eneng Nurcahyati said.
She added that besides investment in road construction , port development and tourism , Banten would also offer investment opportunities in the garment idustry and fisheries to the French businessmen.
After the business gathering, the French businessmen would observe conditions at Bojonegara international port, PT Krakatau Steel and Tanjung Lesung tourist resort.
Nurcahyati said the business gathering would be a follow-up to an investment plan which had been previously discussed with a number of French businessmen. (*)
