Banking Network Expanded, Services in Kemiling Become More Representative
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is strengthening its banking services in Lampung through the inauguration of a new building and the upgrade of the Kemiling sub-branch status to a full sub-branch office. Located in the Chandra Kemiling Building, Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro No. 56, Bandar Lampung, the office features more spacious, comfortable, and modern facilities.
Previously operating as a cash-only sub-branch, the Kemiling sub-branch now officially operates as a full sub-branch. BCA Regional Operations Support Head for Region VI, Lenny Cendra, stated that the development of the branch network is part of the company’s efforts to provide hybrid banking services that combine digital channels with face-to-face services.
According to him, the presence of the Kemiling sub-branch with more representative facilities is expected to increase customer comfort while supporting the economic activities of the community in Bandar Lampung.
“Technological developments have changed the way people transact. However, the need for physical services remains important for various requirements that necessitate assistance and direct interaction,” said Lenny.
The strengthening of the physical network aligns with BCA’s strategy to develop hybrid banking services. In the last three years, the integration of digital channels and the branch network is said to have driven the growth of BCA customer transaction volumes by up to 60%. As of the end of June 2026, BCA serves 42 million customer accounts through the support of digital services such as myBCA and BCA mobile, a network of 1,272 branch offices, and more than 20,000 ATM/CRM machines spread across Indonesia.
The growth in the number of customers has also supported BCA’s Third-Party Funds (DPK), which grew 7.9% year-on-year to Rp1,284 trillion in the first semester of 2026. Through the inauguration of the Kemiling sub-branch, BCA hopes to expand access to banking services while supporting the economic activities of the community in Bandar Lampung.
“Digital transformation and the presence of branch offices complement each other in providing a relevant banking experience. Customers still have the flexibility to choose service channels according to their needs and convenience,” said Lenny.
