Bank Neo Commerce (BBYB) Posts Profit of Rp 136.9 Billion in Q1 2026, Loan Disbursement Reaches Rp 7 Trillion

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) booked a profit of Rp 136.98 billion in the first quarter of 2026.

This figure represents a 14.36% decrease year-on-year compared to Rp 159.94 billion in the same period last year.

In terms of intermediation, the loans disbursed by Bank Neo Commerce (BNC) as of 31 March 2026 stood at Rp 7.03 trillion.

This amount experienced a 17.24% contraction year-on-year compared to Rp 8.49 trillion in the same period the previous year.

This indicates that BNC is focusing on disbursing higher-quality and more selective credit.

President Director of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk, Eri Budiono, stated that amid numerous uncertainties and volatile geopolitical conditions in various parts of the world, Bank Neo Commerce continues to strive to conduct its business well while maintaining good governance.

“We are focusing on promoting credit growth in the digital retail segment cautiously and strengthening our digital ecosystem. We continue to strive to maintain the positive performance trend going forward,” he said in an official statement on Wednesday (29/4/2026).

On the funding side, third-party funds (DPK) for BNC in the first quarter of 2026 were recorded at Rp 13.42 trillion, contracting by 1.97% from Rp 13.69 trillion in the first quarter of last year.

Regarding the composition of DPK, there was an increase in savings of 8.62% from Rp 3.22 trillion in Q1-2025 to Rp 3.50 trillion in the same period this year.

Meanwhile, deposits contracted by 2.18% from Rp 9.56 trillion in Q1-2025 to Rp 9.35 trillion in Q1-2026.

Eri explained that this aligns with the bank’s strategy to continuously increase the proportion of low-cost funds by enhancing transaction capabilities, resulting in a current account savings account (CASA) ratio of 30.34% at the end of Q1-2026.

As of the end of Q1-2026, BBYB’s total assets were recorded at Rp 18.34 trillion.

This figure saw a 0.94% increase year-on-year compared to Rp 18.17 trillion in the same period last year.

In terms of efficiency, the operational cost to operational income ratio (BOPO) as of 31 March 2026 stood at 83.68%.
