Bank Mandiri Reports Net Profit of Rp 8.9 Trillion in First Two Months of 2026, Driven by Credit and Digital Transactions
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk recorded net profit of Rp 8.9 trillion through February 2026, up 16.7 per cent compared to the same period last year. Performance growth was driven by increased digital transactions, credit disbursement, and growth in commission-based income.
Novita Widya Anggraini, Finance and Strategy Director at Bank Mandiri, highlighted that increased digital transaction activity among customers through the Livin’ by Mandiri application was a key driver.
“Increased digital transaction activity among customers through Livin’ by Mandiri has contributed to growth in commission-based income,” said Novita in a written statement on Tuesday (10 March 2026).
Digital transactions encompass various everyday financial services. Customers utilise the application for bill payments, digital service purchases, and funds transfers between individuals and business operators.
Increased digital activity also drove growth in commission income. Commission-based income from digital platforms including Livin’ by Mandiri reached Rp 625 billion, up 45.3 per cent year-on-year. The corporate service platform Kopra by Mandiri also recorded growth, with commission income from this service reaching Rp 421 billion, up 29.3 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Credit disbursement also showed growth. Bank Mandiri disbursed Rp 1.513 trillion in credit through February 2026, up 15.7 per cent year-on-year. Third-party fund collection reached Rp 1.644 trillion, up 16.3 per cent compared to the same period last year.
“This reflects sustained customer confidence in Bank Mandiri’s services,” said Novita.
Operational efficiency also supported company performance. The cost-to-income ratio decreased to 37.21 per cent. Asset quality remained sound, with the non-performing loan ratio recorded at 0.98 per cent and a coverage ratio of 246.5 per cent.
Bank Mandiri’s management believes these strong fundamentals provide the foundation for sustained future growth. “Going forward, Bank Mandiri will continue to strengthen integrated synergies across all business lines to drive sustainable growth acceleration whilst strengthening the company’s competitive advantages. This approach aligns with Bank Mandiri’s role as a strategic partner to the government in supporting the strengthening of the national economic ecosystem,” said Novita.
