As part of its 65th anniversary celebrations, Bank Jakarta held a collaborative blood donation event with PWI Jaya, PMI DKI Jakarta Province, and the DKI Jakarta CSR Forum at Bank Jakarta’s headquarters on Friday, 24 April 2026.
Bank Jakarta’s President Director, Agus H. Widodo, stated in a written remark that this blood donation activity is part of the company’s commitment to strengthening social care while delivering tangible benefits to the community.
According to Agus, the 65th anniversary of Bank Jakarta is not only celebrated as an institutional achievement but also serves as an opportunity to expand humanitarian contributions through collaboration with various parties. “This blood donation is a manifestation of Bank Jakarta’s social care towards the community. At the age of 65, we want this celebration to have a broader impact, not just ceremonial, but also providing direct benefits through humanitarian actions,” said Agus.
He added that the synergy with PWI Jaya, PMI DKI Jakarta Province, and the DKI Jakarta CSR Forum exemplifies positive collaboration between the business world, professional organisations, and social institutions in supporting community needs. “We hope this activity can help meet blood requirements in hospitals and for those in need. This is also part of the collaborative spirit that we continue to build,” he said.
Furthermore, Agus emphasised that social activities like blood donation will continue to be part of Bank Jakarta’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, in line with the company’s transformation that is not only business-oriented but also holds social responsibilities.
PWI Jaya Chairman, Kesit B. Handoyo, expressed appreciation for the collaborative initiative spearheaded by Bank Jakarta with its partners. According to him, this activity demonstrates shared concern for humanitarian issues that require involvement from many parties. “We appreciate Bank Jakarta for turning the 65th anniversary commemoration into a moment of sharing through blood donation. This is a very positive and beneficial activity, while also showing that cross-sector collaboration can provide real contributions to the community,” said Kesit.
The blood donation event was attended by Bank Jakarta employees, PWI Jaya members, CSR partners, and the general public. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident from the morning, with registration and health checks proceeding orderly in the event area.
Bank Jakarta’s Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi, stated that through this activity, Bank Jakarta affirms that the 65th anniversary celebration is not only a reflection of the company’s journey but also a moment to strengthen values of care, collaboration, and service to the community. “This activity is expected to support blood stock availability in DKI Jakarta while strengthening the spirit of social solidarity,” concluded Arie.
