Jakarta, VIVA – Bank bjb’s commitment to strengthening sustainable financing has once again received a positive response from the market. This is reflected in strong investor interest in the issuance of Bank bjb’s Phase II Sustainability Bond, which forms part of the company’s strategy to expand its environment- and social-conscious financing portfolio.

The instrument provides investors with an opportunity to invest responsibly while obtaining competitive returns, and also contributing to support sustainable development in Indonesia.

The bond is part of Bank bjb’s Public Offering of Sustainability Bonds (PUB) with a total target fund of Rp2 trillion. In the first phase issued in 2024 with a value of Rp1 trillion, the bonds recorded very high investor interest with an oversubscription rate of up to 4.66 times the initial target.

Continuing that success, in 2026 Bank bjb again offers Phase II Sustainability Bond with investor demand for Bank bjb’s Sustainability Bond reaching Rp932.4 billion. The bookbuilding period ran from 13 February to 2 March 2026 with two series options, namely Series A with a tenor of 3 years and indicative coupon of 5.45%–6.05%, and Series B with a tenor of 5 years with indicative coupon of 5.70%–6.30%. This indicates high investor confidence in the performance and prospects of Bank bjb’s business going forward.

In terms of credit quality, the bond has an idAA (Double A) rating from Pefindo, reflecting the company’s strong ability to meet its long-term financial commitments. The Sustainability Bond framework of Bank bjb has also received an “Environmentally Friendly/Sustainable” assessment from the independent SDGs Hub at the University of Indonesia.
