Bank Aladin Syariah introduces digital sacrificial payment feature
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk has collaborated with the Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) to introduce a digital sacrificial payment service through the Ala Berbagi feature, making it easier for the public to perform the sacrificial worship.
“Through this collaboration with Baznas RI, we hope that this digital sacrificial payment service can facilitate the public in performing blessed sacrificial worship comfortably, safely, and reliably,” said President Director of Bank Aladin Syariah, Koko Tjatur Rachmadi, in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
Koko explained that sacrificial worship is a form of obedience to Allah SWT as well as concern for others.
Therefore, he said, this partnership with Baznas RI represents Bank Aladin Syariah’s commitment to providing modern syariah financial services that deliver real benefits to the public.
“We also aim to continue offering syariah services that are relevant to current public needs while creating broader social impact to achieve the Blessed Sacrifice Empowering Villages,” said Koko.
Through the Ala Berbagi-Kurban feature in the Bank Aladin Syariah app, customers can purchase the best sacrificial animals without needing to visit breeders or sacrificial animal sellers.
Customers can directly select the Baznas institution, then choose the type of sacrificial animal starting from Rp2.45 million for standard sheep/goat up to Rp21 million for one cow, and complete the payment within a single app.
After the transaction is successfully completed, customers will receive proof of payment automatically via email and WhatsApp.
The Blessed Sacrifice Empowering Villages Programme 2026, initiated by Baznas, integrates sacrificial worship with empowering mustahik livestock farmers from breeding centres under its guidance spread across various regions in Indonesia.
With this concept, the public participating in sacrifices also helps improve the welfare of local farmers.
Deputy Chairman of Baznas, Zainut Tauhid Sa’adi, expressed his appreciation for the synergy established with Bank Aladin Syariah in supporting the ease of sacrificial worship services for the public.
The presence of the sacrificial feature in the Aladin Syariah app allows the public to perform sacrifices in just seconds. This, he said, makes it easier for the public to fulfil sacrificial worship with guarantees of security and transparency.
“We are committed to ensuring that the management of sacrificial animals complies with syariah and applicable regulations. It is ensured to be syariah-safe, regulation-safe, and NKRI-safe,” said Zainut.
During the launch of the digital sacrificial payment service on Wednesday (13/5), Bank Aladin Syariah also handed over a sacrificial animal in the form of a cow through Baznas as a symbol of commitment and support for the public welfare programme.
Through this collaboration, both parties hope to expand the reach of digital sacrificial services while increasing public participation in sharing goodness with others.
Based on Baznas data, the national sacrificial economy has significant potential value, projected to reach Rp34.85 trillion in 2025.
This figure indicates that the national sacrificial programme has great potential to drive the ummah’s economy if managed professionally.
