Bandung City Government Ensures Quality of Aid Rice Passes Strict Checks
Bandung City (ANTARA) - The Bandung City Government in West Java has ensured that the quality of government food reserve (CPP) aid rice has passed a strict checking process before being received by beneficiary families (KPM). Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan said that the 10-kilogram aid rice that has been distributed is in a condition fit for consumption by the public. “In general, the quality of the aid is in good condition and has gone through a checking process before distribution,” Farhan said in a statement received in Bandung on Tuesday. He emphasised that the entire distribution process is carried out under supervision to keep the rice quality good until it reaches residents. “As soon as there is a report, we immediately go down to ensure. If there is indeed something that needs to be fixed, we will definitely fix it,” he said. He also explained that Bandung City has received an increase in the number of food aid recipients, which is the result of an update to the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The number of aid recipients in Bandung City has significantly increased from around 80,000 to 146,232 recipients.
